Terms at a glance
Sellion is an order management system built for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and WhatsApp sellers in Nepal. Legal pages are rarely fun to read, so here is the short version before the full agreement.
No hidden charges
The price you see on the pricing page is the price you pay. We tell you before any change affects your plan.
Cancel any time
Stay on a paid plan only as long as it helps you. Cancel and you simply move to the Free plan at the end of the period.
Your data stays yours
Every order, customer and product record you create belongs to you. Export it or delete it whenever you like.
Governed by Nepali law
Sellion is built and operated from Kathmandu, and these terms are governed by the laws of Nepal.
This summary is for convenience only — the sections below are the binding agreement.
1. Agreement to These Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Sellion ("Sellion", "we", "us" or "our"). They govern your use of sellion.app, our web and mobile apps, our order capture links and every related feature (together, the "Service").
By creating an account, signing in, or using any part of the Service you confirm that you have read, understood and accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into this agreement by reference. If you do not agree, please do not use Sellion.
If you use Sellion on behalf of a business, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms for that business, and "you" means both you and that business.
2. Who Can Use Sellion
Sellion is a business tool. To open and keep an account you must:
- Be at least 16 years old and legally able to enter into a contract.
- Provide accurate, current and complete registration details, and keep them up to date.
- Use the Service for a genuine selling or business purpose, not to test, resell or copy the platform.
- Comply with all laws that apply to your business in Nepal, including consumer, tax and electronic transaction rules.
We may refuse, limit or close an account if these requirements are not met, or if we are required to do so by law.
3. Your Account & Security
Your account is personal to you and your business. You are responsible for everything that happens under it, so please:
- Choose a strong, unique password and keep it private — never share it in a group chat or with a customer.
- Verify your email address so you can recover access and receive important notices.
- Keep control of any staff accounts you invite: they can see and change the data you give them access to.
- Sign out on shared or public devices.
- Tell us immediately at support@sellion.app if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
We are not responsible for losses caused by someone else using your credentials with your knowledge, or because you failed to keep them secure. How we protect your account on our side is described in the Privacy Policy.
4. Plans, Trials & Billing
Sellion offers a free plan and paid subscription plans. Current prices, order limits and features are shown on our pricing page, which forms part of these Terms.
- Free plan — available at no cost with usage limits (including a monthly order cap). We may adjust free-plan limits with reasonable notice.
- Paid plans — billed monthly or annually in advance in Nepalese Rupees (NPR). Annual plans are charged for the full year at the discounted annual rate.
- Free trial — paid plans include a 14-day free trial. If you do not activate a paid plan before the trial ends, your account simply moves to the Free plan; nothing is charged automatically.
- Upgrades and downgrades — you can change plan at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated charges; downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period.
- Payments — subscription payments are handled by licensed payment providers such as eSewa, Khalti, IME Pay or a bank. Sellion never stores your full card number or wallet credentials.
- Taxes — prices are shown inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Any bank, wallet or transfer fee charged by your provider is yours to pay.
- Failed or late payment — if a subscription payment is not completed, paid features may be paused and your account may be moved to the Free plan until payment is received.
- Price changes — we may change our prices, but we will notify you by email or in-app at least 14 days before a change affects your renewal, so you can cancel if you prefer.
Your invoices and payment references are available in your account and stay retrievable for as long as Nepali tax and accounting law requires.
5. Cancellation & Refunds
- You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings, or by emailing support@sellion.app.
- Cancellation stops future charges. Paid features remain available until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- We do not refund partial billing periods or unused time on a plan, including annual plans cancelled mid-term.
- If you were charged in error, charged twice, or charged after a valid cancellation, email us within 7 days and we will investigate and correct it.
- If we discontinue a paid feature you rely on, or permanently shut down the Service, we will refund the unused portion of any prepaid period.
- You may delete your account at any time. Deletion is permanent for your live data — see the retention rules in the Privacy Policy before you proceed.
6. Acceptable Use
Sellion is a shared platform, and misuse by one seller affects everyone. You agree that you will not:
- Use Sellion to sell or promote anything illegal in Nepal, including counterfeit goods, restricted drugs, weapons, stolen property or fraudulent services.
- Send spam, bulk unsolicited messages or deceptive offers to your customers using data stored in Sellion.
- Upload malware, run automated scraping or load tests, or otherwise interfere with the performance or security of the Service.
- Attempt to access another seller's account or data, bypass authentication or plan limits, or probe our infrastructure without written permission.
- Copy, reverse engineer, resell, sublicense or white-label the Service, or build a competing product from it.
- Impersonate Sellion, another business or another person, or misrepresent your affiliation with us.
- Upload content that is defamatory, obscene, hateful, or that infringes someone else's intellectual property or privacy.
- Store sensitive information you do not need — for example citizenship or passport scans, biometric data, health records, full card numbers or banking passwords.
If you discover a security vulnerability, please report it privately to support@sellion.app instead of exploiting or publishing it. We appreciate responsible disclosure.
7. Your Content & Data
You keep all rights to the content you put into Sellion — your store details, logo, product catalogue, prices, orders, customer records and notes ("Your Content"). We do not claim ownership of it.
- You grant us a limited licence to host, store, back up, transmit and display Your Content strictly to operate the Service for you and to provide support.
- You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of Your Content, and for having the right to store the customer details you upload.
- You can export your orders and customer records at any time in a machine-readable format.
- We never sell Your Content, and we do not use your customer lists to market to your customers.
- We may use aggregated, de-identified statistics (for example ‘average orders per seller’) to improve and describe the Service — never in a way that identifies you or your customers.
If you send us feedback, feature requests or suggestions, you allow us to use them to improve Sellion without obligation or payment to you.
8. Your Customers & Order Capture Links
Sellion lets you publish order capture links (the /r/your-link pages) so buyers can submit their own order details. When you use them:
- You are the data controller for your customers' information, and Sellion acts as your data processor.
- You must tell your customers how their details will be used, and have a lawful basis for collecting them.
- You are responsible for the products, prices, delivery promises, returns and after-sales service shown or agreed through your link.
- Sellion is not a party to the sale between you and your buyer, does not verify orders, and does not process customer payments for your sales.
- Order capture pages are excluded from search engine indexing, but a link is shareable by anyone who has it — treat it as public.
- We may disable a specific link that is being used for fraud, abuse or illegal sales.
Disputes about a sale — wrong item, delayed delivery, refund of a customer's payment — are between you and your customer. We will normally refer a customer who contacts us to you, and support you in responding.
9. Our Intellectual Property
The Service itself — the software, dashboards, design, layout, text, graphics, the "Sellion" name and our logo — belongs to Sellion and its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to access and use the Service for your own business while your account is active and in good standing. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of the Service to you, and you may not use our name or logo to suggest a partnership or endorsement without our written permission.
10. Third-Party Services
Sellion works alongside services we do not control — social platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and WhatsApp, payment gateways, delivery and courier partners, app stores, hosting and analytics providers.
- Your use of a third-party service is governed by that provider's own terms and privacy policy.
- We are not responsible for a third party's availability, fees, decisions or errors, including a failed wallet payment or a delayed courier.
- Sellion does not connect to, read or store your social media inboxes — order details reach Sellion only because you enter them or a customer submits your order capture form.
11. Availability, Changes & Support
We work hard to keep Sellion fast and available, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Access may be affected by maintenance, upgrades, provider outages, internet or power failures, or events outside our control.
- We aim to schedule planned maintenance outside peak selling hours and to announce significant downtime in advance.
- We may add, change, improve or remove features. If a change materially reduces what your paid plan offers, we will tell you in advance.
- Support is available by email, our contact form and WhatsApp, Sunday to Friday, 10 AM – 6 PM NPT. Paid plans receive priority response times.
- We may set fair-use technical limits (for example request rates or attachment sizes) to protect platform stability.
12. Suspension & Termination
You may stop using Sellion at any time by cancelling your subscription or deleting your account. We may suspend or terminate your access if:
- A subscription payment is overdue or has been reversed.
- You breach these Terms — in particular the acceptable use rules in section 6.
- We reasonably believe the account is being used for fraud, abuse, or activity that is illegal or harms other users.
- We are required to act by law, a court order or a competent authority.
- The account has been inactive on a free plan for an extended period, after we email the address on file.
Except in cases of fraud, abuse, legal compulsion or a serious security risk, we will normally warn you first and give you a reasonable chance to fix the problem. On termination your right to use the Service ends immediately; data handling then follows the retention rules in the Privacy Policy. Sections that should survive termination — payment obligations, intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, indemnity and governing law — continue to apply.
13. Disclaimers
Sellion is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet every requirement of your business.
- Sellion is a record-keeping and workflow tool. It does not guarantee sales, revenue, growth or business results.
- Reports, analytics and totals are generated from the data you enter. Verify figures before relying on them for tax, accounting or legal filings — Sellion is not accounting, tax or legal advice.
- You are responsible for the correctness of your prices, stock, delivery charges and customer commitments.
- Keep your own backups of anything critical to your business, in addition to our backups.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Nepali law, Sellion and its team will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive losses, including lost profits, lost sales, lost goodwill, or loss of data arising from your use of — or inability to use — the Service.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) NPR 5,000. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or anything that cannot lawfully be limited.
15. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Sellion harmless from claims, damages, penalties and reasonable legal costs arising from your use of the Service, including claims relating to the products you sell, the promises you make to your customers, the content and customer data you upload, your breach of these Terms, or your breach of any law or third-party right.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as Sellion evolves or as the law changes. The "Last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version.
For material changes — for example new fees or new restrictions on how you may use the Service — we will notify you by email or with an in-app notice before they take effect. Continuing to use Sellion after an update means you accept the revised Terms. If you do not accept them, cancel your subscription and stop using the Service.
17. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Nepal, including the Electronic Transactions Act, 2063 (2008), Consumer Protection Act, 2075 (2018) and the Individual Privacy Act, 2075 (2018), without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
If a dispute arises, please contact us first at support@sellion.app — most issues are resolved quickly and informally. If we cannot resolve it within 30 days, the courts of Kathmandu, Nepal have exclusive jurisdiction.
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in force. Our failure to enforce a right immediately is not a waiver of that right. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the pricing page, are the entire agreement between us, and you may not transfer them to someone else without our consent.

Terms FAQ
Quick answers to the questions Nepali sellers ask us most.
Do I need to accept these terms to use Sellion?
Yes. Creating a Sellion account, or using any part of the website or app, means you accept these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with them, please do not use Sellion.
Can I cancel my Sellion subscription at any time?
Yes. You can cancel whenever you want. Your paid features stay active until the end of the period you already paid for, after which your account moves to the Free plan. We do not charge a cancellation fee.
Does Sellion offer refunds?
We do not refund partial billing periods. If a payment was charged in error, or you were double charged, email support@sellion.app within 7 days and we will investigate and correct it.
What happens when my 14-day free trial ends?
If you have not activated a paid plan by the end of the trial, your account automatically moves to the Free plan. You are never charged automatically at the end of a trial.
Who owns the orders and customer records I add to Sellion?
You do. You keep all rights to the business, order and customer data you enter. We only store and process it to run the Service for you, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Can Sellion suspend or close my account?
Only for good reason — for example non-payment, fraud, abuse of other users, illegal activity through the platform, or attempts to break our security. Wherever it is reasonable to do so, we warn you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.
